Beloved Chef Kimmy Tang (Michelia, the 9021Pho chain) will be serving up tastes. Since the opening of her new Pasadena restaurant, Bistro Mon Cherie, where the menu is an exciting mix of Asian-European-Kimmy dishes, this is a rare chance to indulge in her lucious food on the west side of town. Top local favorites Hanjip (Korean) and Mayura (Indian), will be handing out samples, too, along with Cava, Fresh Brothers, LA Gastronomy, Le Pain Quotidien, Luciano Italiano Cucina, Ococoa Chocolates, Panini Kabob Grill, Pitfire Pizza, Primal Kitchen, Public School, Smitten Liquid Nitrogren Ice Cream, Wildcraft, and more. Wine and other beverages will be poured from Young’s Market, American Born Whiskey, Humboldt Rum and Vodka, Martian Ranch & Vineyards, Boisset Collection, Plough Family Vineyards, Harmless Harvest Coco Water, Iron Fist Craft Beer, Naked Juice, Rutherford Ranch Winery, 1000 Stories Wine, BNA Wine Group, Spa Girl Vodka Cocktails, Rock N Roll Tequila, Tea Riot, and others. A Silent Auction includes items from the LA Kings, Trader Joe’s, The Studio MDR, Wine Magnums, Restaurant gift cards, Haircuts, Professional Photo Sessions, Ice Skating lessons, Swing Dance lessons, Magician in your home, and more. Entertainment by DJ Gabe of Culver City; live guitar by Kevin G; strolling musician Fantastic Paul (America’s Got Talent), plus a Photo Booth and a fortune telling psychic.
