Little Mix in Dubai

English pop group Little Mix will be shaking things up in Dubai this week when they perform at the X Factor Arabia launch party, according to TimeOut Dubai. The Simon Cowell-created show is back for its third season, after getting a total revamp and being acquired by Dubai-based MBC group - previously owned by Egyptian channel CBC. The event is by special invite-only, and the girls', Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson, performance will be aired on March 14, when the show premieres on MBC 4 and MBC Masr. Lebanese superstars Elissa and Ragheb Alama, and Egyptian singer and actress Donia Samir Ghanem, who are the show's new celebrity judges will be present at the event, MBC confirmed to Gulf News' tabloid!. The girls landed in the sunny city on Tuesday morning, and by the afternoon they were already topping up their tans on the beach, reported Gulf News. In 2011, Little Mix were the first group to win the X Factor UK. Since then, they've had a successful run with two albums: DNA, in 2012, and Salute, in 2013. The Arabic version of The X Factor, which premiered on Rotana and LBC in 2006, was taken off air after the second season. It returned in 2012 with CBC before it was recently acquired by MBC.
