POOF: FACTS BLOW AWAY TRUMP’S SMOKE AND MIRRORS JOBS, JOBS, JOBS BLABBERMOUTH

By Ilene Proctor Tag Hollywood has it on the best job data authorities available from the Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics that from February through May the Trump administration boasted 594,000 new jobs. But when the non deporables clear the smoke from the Trump choke-hold of reality they can see that’s far fewer than the 659,000 new jobs created during the final four months of the Obama administration, which Trump criticized for its job growth. So far, 2017 is on track to produce the fewest net new jobs in seven years. Although the Bureau of Labor Statistics adjusted its figures for seasonal disparities, such as the effects of holidays, weather and school schedules, some would argue that a better comparison would be February through May of 2016. But the numbers under Trump fall short there too, as the economy added 658,000 jobs during that period. The average of 162,000 net new jobs a month so far this year is off last year’s figure of 187,000. At the current pace, the U.S. would add about 1.9 million jobs in 2017. It would be the first time since 2010 the figure was below 2 million.
