The African American Film Critics Association Awards

Wednesday, February 4th marked the African American Film Critics Association Awards. The high profile event featured many celebrities and honorees. The special achievement recipients included, Universal Pictures Chairwoman, Donna Langley; Los Angeles Film Festival Director, Stephanie Allain; Black List.com, co-founder, Franklin Leonard; Franklin Leonard (The Black List), David Oyelowo, Ava DuVernay and Common (Selma), Gina Price-Bythewood (Beyond the Lights), Stephanie Allain (Beyond the Lights/Dear White People), Justin Simien (Dear White People), Academy Award Winner Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker), Khandi Alexander (Scandal) and Wendy Racquel Robinson (The Game), and many others.
